FOR THE EXPLORER
The Perfumist of Paris is the 3rd in the stunning Jaipur Trilogy by Alka Joshi. Her first - The Henna Artist was a Reese Witherspoons Book Club hot pick, and number two in the trilogy - The Secret Keeper of Jaipur- was totally transportive and full to the brim of beautiful language, storytelling and heart-capturing characters. Number three? Count us in.
FOR THE RELATABLE
We’ve heard great things about The Burnout by Sophie Kinsella, decades after her #1 everywhere bestseller - Confessions of a Shopaholic and hit after hit ever since, this is high on the list of novels that are just the perfect read for this time of year. Protagonist Sasha does the predicted, burns out, but this seems to be an exploration of how she pulls herself up, something we can all relate to and a character we perhaps see ourselves in.
FOR THE MIND BENDING
Spotted by the eagle-eyed on Instagram and TikTok, Bending Reality by Victoria Song is praised the world over for its exploration on an unusual quest to study and train with renowned trainers, coaches, therapists and healers. It has huge self-development appeal and we cannot wait to dive in.
