You may have seen some behind the scenes content over on Instagram from our recent London shoot. Here we dive into what makes a successful shoot, from planning to ‘that’s a wrap!’.

Aligning diaries and finding the ‘magic day’ that works for all takes attention to detail, understanding and sleuthing of studio availability! Once everyone is booked and confirmed, it’s a matter of working on how to brief all those booked in their role for the shoot itself.

Having clear objectives, knowing exactly what is being shot and the ‘look and feel’ desired makes a structure and vision to work towards. A really creative part of the planning is mood boards, planning outfits and models, call sheets and organising the order of shooting takes collaboration.

Having NEW product to be excited to shoot is *SENSATIONAL*. We happened to be in receipt of our latest product drop, the Dream Spin Shorts alongside their Adaptive twin version, as well as the full length Adaptive Dream Spin Leggings that we’ve been dying to style and shoot. Working with Pantone’s colour of the year - Viva Magenta (a ruby pink) made this shoot super-colourful!

Vibes on set, smash-it-out-the-park MUA, model focus, talented photographer, versatile studio space,  guidance of a loving founder = successful shoot day.
