We’ve had lots of hits on our blog from all over the world and we wanted to reintroduce ourselves properly, so if you’re new here...
Hello!
We are ILU Fitwear, led by fab Founder and Creative Director, Mary, the total powerhouse behind running ILU Fitwear, building its loving community, and who pours love into all our new product development. I’m Naomi, the Marketing Manager who looks after all content, strategy and a touch of PR. We also work closely with our lovely Production Manager, Isabel, who overseas all our NPD, as we design in the UK and make in Portugal. We meet pretty often to align all our priorities and tasks (long coffees at Bills are our current fave!)
So what do we do?
ILU Fitwear creates women’s activewear that ticks all the feminine, functional AND flattering boxes. Our designs range from technical pieces ideal for sweaty runs and workouts, to the soft and cocooning pieces for the more holistic activities. All designs are thoughtfully made to empower women to move the way they want to, feeling their most beautiful and above all, supported to move by their chosen outfit.

How do we produce our collection?
The entire collection is produced with great care and responsibility in the EU, using repurposed fabrics that are chosen for longevity, not landfill, that you’ll wear, wash, and wear again. The factories we use have the highest standards of working conditions, minimal environmental impact, and fair compensation for the people that lovingly make our pieces. You won’t find any Greenwashing here, we produce and manage our collections responsibly.

And what’s coming up?
New for 2024, we present our Adaptive Friendly pieces in their own collection, our pledge to create pieces that are by design or with modifications, easier to get on/off, in the hopes that women experiencing mobility/dexterity or other limitations will feel represented and designed for. After all, in most cases, more movement is always better than less, so having beautiful activewear that functions is our non-negotiable.
